apartments in Agni Bay, corfu Overview
Giuseppe, an Italian from Milan, converted this old olive press above Agni Bay over 30 years ago. The building is over 200 years old, but has been superbly modernised, retaining many of the original features in order to preserve the character of the house. The lower house used to be the storage area for olives, whilst the upper house (The Olive Press - Agni Bay) was indeed the actual press.
Giuseppe's House, even though it is part of the same property as the Olive Press, could not be more different - utterly modern in every way.

Interior
There are three bedrooms, two shower rooms and a large kitchen/dining area - all on the ground level.
The bedrooms are air conditioned.

Kitchen & Living area
Huge patio doors and windows on two sides of the living area make the dividing line between indoors and out almost invisible - a real garden room. These patio doors are the point of entry to the property.
There is a well equipped kitchen - incorporating original stone features and including a washing machine.

Bedrooms
The master bedroom with double bed is bright and airy, decorated in sunny colours and with plenty of cupboard space. There is air-conditioning in each of the bedrooms.
The second bedroom with two single beds has an impressive arched doorway which was used as the original entrance to the olive press. This now opens on to a pleasant paved terrace overlooking the garden.
The third bedroom - ideal for children is a little smaller, but has ample storage under the beds.

There are two bathrooms, one with bath (plus shower attachment) and the other with shower, both being modern and attractively fitted out.

Outside
There are several private patios and outdoor dining areas - as you would expect of an Italian-owned villa, proper respect has been accorded to the creation of convivial surroundings for meals.
Having originally been an olive press, the house naturally nestles in a large olive grove.
The idyllic bay of Agni is a short walk down through the olive groves. (Please note, the walk back up, due to the steepness, may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.). Larger parties of six or more may like to consider taking the upper part of the house The Olive Press - Agni Bay, as well, making this a fantastic holiday base for up to ten persons.
