Renovated with love and care the building was restored to its former glory in boutique hotel style and opened its doors to offer top class accommmodation in Nafplion with a cosy, romantic atmosphere.

Comfort and aesthetics were foremost in mind when planning the restoration and once the doors were opened Rania and Magda made it their business to make each of their guests stay in Nafplion unique, "a visit to Nafplion to be remembered with fondness".

Pension Filyra has now been open for some years and offers 6 rooms in total, 5 double/triple suite-like rooms, one loft which accommodates families (with full kitchen facilities) and the policy at this family run hotel is 100% guest satisfaction!

Nafplion was the first capital of Greece after the liberation of the country from the Turkish and as such has a plethora of historical monuments, fascinating narrow roads with Venetian style overhanging balconies and impressive castles of Palamidi, Acronafplia and the Bourtzi Castle in the middle of the harbour.

Bearing in mind its location, Pension Filyra is the perfect place from which to visit and explore the wonderful sites of the Argolida and the Peloponnese whilst having a superb base to return to.
