and enjoying the unique mountainous terrain of the Aspropotamos region.
Kirki, Nefeli, Danae, Thetis and other deities of Greek mythology lend
their names in the rooms of the Mantania Tower. Each one of the rooms
has a unique style and decoration. The rooms that are upstairs have a
fireplace as well. Manatania Tower is built as the mansions of the region
used to be built back in the 18th century.
Stefani, Krania, Doliana, Kalliroe and Dragovitsi with the beautiful
view, that was later renamed to Polythea, Tziourtzia, Anthousa, Katafito
and Haliki are the villages that are located close to the unit.
The unit is surrounded by a thick evergreen forest while the
river of Acheloos and its tributary, Aspropotamos, are within a
short distance. A variety of fish and animals can be found in the
surrounding area such as trouts, vixens, bears, rabbits, lynx and
wild boars.
