INTERIOR
The recently refurbished Villa Karavos has a clean and tidy look as you enter through the kitchen with its white tiled floors. The kitchen is simple, but adequate for preparing meals and entertaining a large party. From the kitchen, the sitting room is reached through a wide, open doorway and is  furnished with an antique Skopelitian sofa and large dining table. To one side a door leads to a double-bedded room and, off the kitchen, is a W/C shower room. On the opposite wall on the front side of the house, is a second, larger double-bedded room. This is equipped with a wardrobe, vanity mirror and a window facing out to the sea, harbour and town.
The upstairs level is reached by a narrow stairway from the kitchen, which leads up to a second small sitting area with sofa and coffee table. The same floor plan is repeated with one back double- bedded room, a W/C shower room and one front facing double- bedded room with lovely views out to sea. The views are fabulous from the sitting room windows as well, though the favourite spot for all is the extended terrace reached from the French doors in the sitting room. This spacious terrace is the perfect spot for watching the whitewashed village come alive in the morning sunshine. Enjoy the view of ferries coming and going in the busy harbour over morning coffee, all from the comfort of your own private villa.
EXTERIOR
The pretty, flower-filled entrance to Villa Karavos is reached through a very old vine-covered pergola. Through the pergola, the clear blue water of your private pool can be seen with a backdrop of the town and sea. From nearly anywhere you choose to relax, these stunning views stretch before you. Villa Karavos has plenty of patio spaces either for sunbathing around the pool or to enjoy an afternoon meal shaded by the lush trees. The grounds are shared with the owner's house, but the layout of Villa Karavos ensures that you have the exclusive and undisturbed use of the patio and pool area. There is a large, traditionally built barbeque, which is shared with the owner, but a smaller BBQ is also available for your exclusive use.
SURROUNDINGS
The bay and harbour of Skopelos creates a perfect semi circle and amphitheatre-shaped town. Villa Karavos' unique position, just opposite the town offers the most dramatic views. In the morning, watch the sun creeping up behind the villa and slowly glisten upon the town and, at dusk, as the lights begin to twinkle and darkness falls admire the fairy lights of the town and waterfront. In the picturesque winding streets of the old village with   restaurants, shops and cafes in abundance, there is something for everyone. All of this is just a 10-minute walk from the villa, but far enough from the bustle and noise to offer a holiday of real peace and relaxation.
The villa is a perfect starting point for many walks in the hills surrounding the town. By walking upwards from the villa, you will reach several of the most beautiful and historical monasteries on the island. In approximately 1 hour by foot, you reach the Monastery of Evangelistra, with stunning views of the sea and town. En-route, the road passes the fresh water spring of Metoxi, which many locals claim to be the best water on the island. The Monastery of Metamorphosis is opened each year by a monk sent from Mt. Athos in preparation for the celebration of August 15th and is about a 1-hour walk from the villa. The working monasteries of Barbara and Prodromos can be reached by a walk of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes over the mountain behind the villa.
SUITABILITY
Villa Karavos is ideal for one to four couples, with the bedrooms located at each corner of the house allowing privacy for all. This large, walled property is also great for families with all ages of children. It offers comfort for parents and lots of space for kids to explore. It is also perfect for families with teenagers and young adults as its closeness to town and nightlife gives them the freedom and independence to enjoy a family 'get-away'. Car hire not essential May accommodate up to 8 persons.

The services of our representative
are included in the rental cost. Our representative will meet you on the
port of Skopelos/Alonissos upon arrival (1st arriving party for each property)
and will give you a Welcome Letter which will include
telephone numbers for our office and representatives. Also included will
be driving instructions and a map to get to your property independently
if you have not booked an escorted transfer with us AND are arriving before
19:00.
On top of that we can offer
alternative ways of transfer to the island or the house you have reserved. |

We provide cleaning service and
linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning
(excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon
request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can
also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne,
etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.
Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour
front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following
the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange
excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let
you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay.
Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday
with us an unforgettable experience.
In addition, a villa folder will
be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the
villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches.

On departure the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 unless otherwise
arranged with our representative's Service Office. |

ferry tickets to and from Sporades, please use our
on line ferry ticket reservation
system. Tickets will be sent to you by courier either to your home address
or to an address in Greece, providing you will be staying for at least
1 working day there.
You can fly to Skiathos, Athens, Volos and Thessaloniki.
