INTERIOR
Entering into the main floor of Petrino Cottage, the warmth and island character are immediately in evidence. Wooden cabinets and open beamed ceilings give the feel of tradition and age, yet the cottage has only recently completed renovation. The ground floor comprises the living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a large television with satellite and the kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher.

The master bedroom is reached via a staircase in the sitting room and is equipped with a built-in double bed and fireplace. The corner fireplace gives the room a warm touch in addition to the many island handicrafts that decorate the walls and shelves. There is also an en-suite w/c shower room upstairs. The view from the room takes in the pool as well as the sea beyond.

The second bedroom is reached via an outdoor stairway from the courtyard and has wooden open beamed ceilings and lovely views. It is fully equipped and has a double bed and private w/c shower room.

EXTERIOR
The spacious outdoor areas in the courtyard and at the pool make this a great cottage for families as well as couples. Both courtyard and pool terraces are furnished with dining table and chairs and there are sunbeds from which to soak up the warm Aegean sun with the sea as your backdrop.

SURROUNDINGS
Petrino Cottage has the advantage of a quiet and peaceful setting as well as being close to beaches and Skopelos town with all of its amenities. There are lots of walking trails in the area and gorgeous views of only sea and acres of olive trees descending down the hillside. The cottage is just a few minutes drive from Glyfoneri and Glysteri beaches where there are several tavernas serving seafood and local delicacies.

SUITABILITY
Petrino Cottage is a good choice for those wishing a quiet holiday in the countryside but not too far from the action of town. It has a wonderful traditional character for those wishing to really feel like they are living in an island home. Couples will find plenty of privacy and families will enjoy lots of places to explore.
