Spileo is located southwest of Grevena town at a distance of 25 km from it.

To get to Spileo after leaving Grevena town you have to pass through Mavroneos village and Ziakas village. The road is asphalt all the way and very easy to drive up to Mavroneo (1000m altitude). After that extra care is demanded due to the dangerous turns. The area in this part of the road is of unique beauty and view.
