INTERIOR
Top Cottage: Entering into this lovely cottage, its warm style and attention to detail is evident.  A modern, fully equipped kitchen still holds a charm in its traditional decor and the living/dining room is found opposite.  Complete with corner fireplace, terracotta tiled floors and high wood beamed ceilings it offers a comfortable and homey atmosphere.  The sofa converts to a bed for extra sleeping space for two, and a w/c shower room is found down the hallway. The bedroom, decorated in a quaint island style, is furnished with a double bed and has sea-facing windows. The French doors from the living room open to a spacious balcony with outstanding views to the sea and beach below.  It is easy to imagine long hours spent lounging over a leisurely breakfast or evening meals taken outdoors with starlit skies and the twinkling of lights surrounding the bay below.

Lower Cottage: The lower cottage offers exactly the same design and style of the upper cottage with a slightly different floor plan. The same lovely views can be seen from the spacious terrace off of the living room area.

EXTERIOR
Petrino Cottages are located in an elevated position surrounded by terraced gardens with a communal BBQ and sitting area. The buildings are attractively designed with red tiled roofs and lots of stone details. There is private parking located just in front of the building.

SUITABILITY
The cottages are located in the small village of Rousoum Gialo on a little-used road which ends at the cottages.  They are situated just above the beautiful, shingle beach of Rousoum Gialo, which is reached by a stairway directly across the road.  Approximately 50 meters away brings you to the beach and waterfront with a small selection of tavernas specialising in local dishes and a couple of cafes.  At the opposite end of the beach is a small port for the local fishing boats to moor and sell their daily catch. This accommodation is perfect for those who would like to hire a small boat which can be moored at the port each evening.  From here you can cruise the coastline each day looking for that special private cove or beach. Petrino Cottages are perfect for walkers. For a little variety in afternoon or evening meals, why not try the selection of tavernas at the next bay over, Votsi.  The walk is approximately 10 minutes.  Slightly further is the larger port town of Patitiri which can be reached in approximately 15 minutes walk along a seafront path.  Here you will find a full array of amenities including shopping, supermarkets, tavernas and cafes.

Petrino Cottages are perfect for couples wanting a romantic beach holiday with the convenience of not having to get in the car for meals or long days on the beach.  They are also perfect for families with its proximity to the lovely beach of Rousoum Gialo or Patitiri which offers a bit more choice for all.  The key here is convenience in a quality accommodation.
