HOW TO GET THERE:
If you are travelling from Athens, you will take the national
road Athinon-Lamias, which leads you after aproximately 4 hours to the town of Grevena.
From there you have two choises:
- Go to Prespes through the town of Kastoria. It is the shortest
way to get there and it will take you about 3 hours to reach Psarades village.
- Go to Prespes through the town of Florina. It takes longer but
you will get a chance to see Florina as well.
We recommend you take one way to go there and the other as
you leave.
TRAVEL TIPS:
- When travelling during winter time, be careful of the ice on
the road. Sometimes it is so thin you can barely see it.
- Do not always trust the signs. Always carry a map with you.
This is by far the safest way to travel around Hellas. Especially in the prefectures of
Florina and Kastoria, the signs can easily mislead you.
