INTERIOR
Upon entering the front door at Villa Kalimera, you immediately feel the country quality of the house. The stone built fireplace dominates the living room, as does the lofty wood beamed roof that houses a spacious loft area on one side.

The loft is reached by a steep spiral staircase and can sleep 1-2 big children on small fold out chairs, although the best feature of the loft is the door leading to a roomy terrace/sunning area. The views are wonderful, facing east to the sea and the island of Alonissos and south toward the Stafilos valley. This spot boasts the loveliest sunrises from which the house derives its name, Kalimera, meaning 'good morning' in Greek.

The living room is furnished with traditional built-in sofas (which can be used as two single beds) and a coffee table in front of the fireplace. It is open plan to the country-style kitchen which has terracotta tiled flooring and pretty blue accents. A spacious wooden dining table sits in the middle of the room. A w/c shower room is located on one side of the kitchen and the master bedroom on the other.

The spacious master bedroom is furnished with an antique wardrobe, double bed and has an en-suite w/c shower room and its own private entrance. There is a loft platform bed which may allow for 1-2 children to sleep in with their parents, but is reached by steep wooden ladder so is not suitable for small children. A second and separate bedroom is accessed from the patio area next to the front door. This smaller bedroom is simply furnished with two single beds, wardrobe and a desk under the window.

EXTERIOR
This lovely pool villa is situated on the rim of the steep hillside, behind Skopelos town and offers beautiful sea and bay views as well as stunning olive tree covered valleys. These spacious grounds, with olive and fruit trees and low stone walls, provide plenty of peace and privacy. The large stone built patio has an outdoor dining area and barbeque. Relax around your own private pool which sits on the edge of the property taking full advantage of the surrounding scenery and enjoy the sense of quiet only the countryside can offer.

SURROUNDINGS
The 10 minute drive from town to Villa Kalimera is along steep winding roads offering stunning views. The nearest beach to the house, Glyfoneri, is about an 8-minute drive away. Just around the corner from Skopelos port, at the bay of Ag. Konstaninos, Glyfoneri has a small selection of typical tavernas open from mid-May to mid September. This is a small beach however, for the days you don't want to venture far from the villa. The closest main beach is reached by crossing to the south coast of the island and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Given its countryside setting and Skopelos' exquisite nature, it is a walkers’ paradise. In any direction from the villa, you will find fantastic views, nature and photographic opportunities.

SUITABILITY
Villa Kalimera is suitable for up to three couples, large parties and families. The two separate bedrooms with their own entrances offer a unique privacy and the outdoor areas and surrounding property is perfect for families with children.
