EXTERIOR
Located on a stepped, cobbled street in the oldest quarter of town, the courtyard is accessed through a gated entrance. This beautiful courtyard is covered with mature trees and lovely potted flowers making a cool and quaint atmosphere. Anna’s House is the perfect picture of a typically white washed  house with colourful blue shutters, railings and doors. The lighting at night creates such a lovely atmosphere that one can easily imagine spending more evenings at home than out. Whether for morning coffee or evening meals, the courtyard will leave you feeling like you are living in real Greek neighbourhood.
SURROUNDINGS
With the maze of winding and picturesque streets of the old town at your feet, there are plenty of opportunities to explore. One of the oldest churches, which dates from 1600, Saint Georgios, is situated just around the corner from the house as is the Venetian fortress with its base stones dating from the 4th century B.C. A walled stairway with dramatic views down the shear cliffs to the sea leads either up to the fortress or down to the harbour and is also found near to the house.
 Within close proximity of the house is an open-air cafe, open from May to Mid- September, with stunning views out to sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos. A local supermarket is found within a five-minute walk and the waterfront and its shops, restaurants and cafes are a short 7-minute walk down the steep streets of the town. The small beach of Glyfoneri, at the bay of Agios Konstantinos can be reached in approximately twenty minutes walk from the house. There is a selection of local tavernas along the road down to the beach with wonderful views to the bay and beyond.
SUITABILITY
Anna's House is suitable for one or two couples as well as for families who wish to be close to all of the amenities the town has to offer.
