Agrapidia villa, a charming, light and beautifully presented house, sits within pretty grounds in the rolling countryside just outside Vathy, Ithaca’s main town and port where all amenities can be found around the picturesque bay. This is an enviable situation not only because Vathy and the nearest beach are equidistant (2.5 km) from the house but also because privileged and unobstructed sea view can be enjoyed from the terraces, balcony and front windows across vineyards and orchards. In recognition of this lovely, pastoral location the name of the house translates as "wild pear tree" after the numerous fruit trees in the vicinity.
 Agrapidia is a two storey house and it is the largest of them all having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in total. In the ground floor one can find the living room, the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom while the other 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms can be found on the first floor, all this in a 100m2 area. Its magnificent 360° view and its lush garden will captivate your senses.
Agrapidia offers accommodation that is welcoming, peaceful and very attractive. The owners certainly have a keen eye for interior design with immense thought and care invested in the colour scheme, the choice of ornaments, fabrics and various decorative touches. At the northern side of the house, in the open plan living room tasteful furniture sits atop a wooden floor with the well designed kitchen area to one side. On this level there is a double bedroom with view to the sea, house yard and swimming pool and a spacious bathroom with bathtub and a washing machine.
A wooden staircase leads upstairs, where the remaining two bedrooms are located (one with 2 single iron made traditional beds) each having own en suite shower room, spacious balcony (18m2) with excellent sea and area view and equally stylish décor. These excellent facilities are completed by air conditioning in the living area and each bedroom.
Outside, the grounds are well suited to outdoor living as they feature an impressive in-built barbecue along with a choice of eating venues either under one the shady trees or on the pergola covered terrace, the ideal places from which to fully admire the sea view.
The swimming pool is located in the south yard and there are several sun beds for all guests while the surroundings are rich in vegetation and provide a cool atmosphere during the hot summer days.
Agrapidia villa is fully air-conditioned. There is a fireplace in the living room and the kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, hotplates, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The villa has an LCD TV, home cinema, radio and internet connection.
Great attention has been given to the bathroom facilities and decoration. Ground floor bathroom has a bathtub while the other two have a shower cabin.
The spacious garden has plenty of olive trees, rosemary, lavender, geranium and other plants and trees. What is most important, however, is the privacy it offers to its guest who may spend an undisturbed holiday.
