The Hotel Kavalari is centrally located in Fira, the main town of Santorini. Originally
a captain's house, the property was converted into a hotel over
a period of fifteen years.
The traditional island architectural style of the Kavalari
has exterior stairways, which wind down the cliff to various flowered
terraces, designed for the exclusive enjoyment of our guests.
The hotel has nineteen rooms, all built directly into the cliff.
Each room has its own character, some resembling small caves. All
rooms have access to a terrace where guests may enjoy tranquil surroundings
and spectacular sunsets.
Rooms are decorated with traditional furnishings and unique handicrafts
from local artisans. Each room includes private bath, hairdryer,
air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV and mini fridge.
The deluxe rooms have kitchenettes as well.
The Kavalari is conveniently located near the taxi and bus station,
the post Office, banks, museums, shops and a variety of excellent
restaurants. The Hotel Kavalari provides charming
and delightful accommodations for the traveler who wants something
