Europe Suite: Sleeps 2 – 4 persons
Europe Suite is one of the finest examples of Cretan architecture with “onda” (a kind of second floor). Ground floor (40 m²): A very large room with Alfa stone pavement, heavy stone walls and high wooden ceiling, kitchen restored to its original style and dining area with a piano, two single beds, bath with shower.
A large wooden stairway leads up to the “onda”, a traditional open second floor (30 m2) with teak flooring. There is a romantic bedroom with 2 single beds, beautifully furnished with antiques throughout. Next to the “onda”, a narrow balcony brings to a wooden library with old books. Europe Suite has many traditional elements. This suite can also be used during the winter as it has efficient electrical heating.

Lito Suite: Sleeps 2 – 4 persons
Lito Suite is a traditional 70 m² house having a very large room with a massive stone arch supporting the roof and Alfa stone flooring and wooden ceiling. The king size bed with a mosquito net and a sofa / double bed add to the romantic atmosphere.
Facilities include a dinning table made from an antique door, a stone sofa, cooking facilities, a fridge, A/C, colour TV.
It is completely independent, each side having its own separate entrance. This suite can also be used during the winter as it has efficient electrical heating.

Danai Suite: Sleeps 2 – 5 persons
A Venetian double arched doorway will lead you from the street to the Alfa stone paved courtyard. The courtyard – where you can enjoy the sun - has many plants and a dining table under the pergola. The evening air is perfumed by jasmine that covers the wall of the house.

Danai Suite is a fine example of Venetian architecture. The first floor (40 m²) is furnished with a an antique salon and an old arched closed door which adds to the Venetian atmosphere. A sofa / double bed sleeps 2 persons. A large and massive stone stairway leads up to the second floor, which has teak flooring and a wooden ceiling. On this floor the guest will find a bedroom with three antique iron beds and three large windows with a breathtaking view of the gorge of Prasses.
You can enjoy the views to the Cretan sea from the 70 m² private roof terrace. The house facilities include: kitchen, fridge, A/C, colour TV, WC with shower. This suite can also be used during the winter as it has efficient electrical heating.

Lida Suite: Sleeps 2 – 3 persons
This house is accessed from the old olive press courtyard. This part of Monastiriako reminds the cells of the monks of the monastery. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other room has a stone double bed under a Venetian arch and an old dining table. Facilities include: kitchen, fridge, colour TV, WC with shower. This suite can also be used during the winter as it has efficient electrical heating.

Olive Press Building: This 400 years old olive press is the most impressive part of “Monastiriako”. The original olive press is inside a stone building with a large arch and three old windows. It is the biggest olive press in the Rethymno province. It seems that it used to produce the olive oil of the area up until the early 1960’s. Nowadays this is where we have created the bar of “Monastiriako” and the guests can enjoy a drink and have dinner or lunch upon request.
